What is TODPRY container desiccant?
TOPDRY container desiccant is a specially designed desiccant aimed at protecting cargo during shipping by absorbing moisture vapour from the air. In doing so, TOPDRY container desiccant reduces the dew point temperature - the temperature at which condensation begins to form, causing "container rain" - thus keeping cargo dry and safe. Inside shipping containers, this severe condensation is known as “container rain,” "container sweat" or "cargo sweat" and causes costly product damage.
All TOPDRY container desiccant product configurations contain an advanced, patented formulation of TOPDRY calcium chloride and TOPDRY MOISTURE LOCKED material, so it can absorbs up to three times its weights in moisture and traps it as a thick, no spill gel and solid.
